Sure in theory if your clear coat is super soft and you install a ceramic coating on it it'll take your super soft paint and now make it soft instead of super soft. I've installed countless ceramic coatings where people think it's supposed to protect your paint from scratches.and it won't. Don't buy in that it'll be hard as steel. It's likely decent protection, you should have no issues using it on your gelcoat. This is the same type of marketing they used when ceramics first came out. Graphene as a chemical that is put into solvents/water for a protectant to your car can in no way shape or form be compared to steel. To the locals, it’s an integral part of life on the bay. With each crack and each sweet bite, consider the land and water surrounding you, and remember that this land and its crab-obsessed natives rely on the blue crab for more than simple sustenance. In essence, eating blue crab on Chesapeake Bay is as much about indulgence as it is about stewardship. Reports from the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) indicate that the effects of global climate change have been especially harsh on Chesapeake Bay, leading to an uncertain future for this local and national delicacy. In fact, one third of the national blue crab harvest, or approximately 55 million pounds, comes from Chesapeake Bay each year. In coastal Maryland and Virginia, the blue crab is vital to the economy during the summer months and throughout the year. There’s no denying the importance of blue crab on the plates and in the hearts of Chesapeake Bay natives. Create a small cut or break in the top of the shell, and then slowly separate it from the meat with a gentle twisting motion. Instead, detach the claw from the joint and insert your fingers or a thin sharp knife underneath the shell. Many restaurants provide mallets for this step, but using a mallet guarantees bits of shell in the best part of the meat. Most diners recommend picking and eating at the same time to really enjoy the experience. Pull the crab in half again along its lateral lines to find the gold, succulent crab meat.Newbies tend to discard it too, but as Maryland native Dave Chang said when writing for Lucky Peach, you may want to “dunk your face in accordingly.” To many locals, it’s the best part. Peel away the inedible organs, the gray bits also known as “old man’s fingers.” You decide what you want to do with the green crab fat. With your thumb in position, open the crab’s body like a book and reveal the innards.Remove this piece, and there is a convenient pocket for your thumb during the next step. Flip the crab belly-side up to reveal the apron (a Y-shaped piece on males and a dome on females). This frees up the body for maximum meat exposure. Use a gentle twisting motion to snap off the legs and the claws. Ideally, cover the whole table with newspaper or butcher paper to make clean up easy. The process for enjoying this summer staple is easy when you have the right technique. However, the sweet, succulent flavor and the rugged, authentic experience makes it all worth it in the end. Unlike the giant Alaskan king crab, the blue crab is small and delicate, and eating them takes work and patience. Uninitiated eaters are often intimidated by the blue crab. At the very least, it improves the smell in the kitchen. However, cooks don’t agree on the need to season before cooking. Spice, liberal amounts of premixed seasoning make the Chesapeake blue crab experience unique. Seasoning is easy, but when to season is debatable.Others prefer to stick the crabs with an ice pick right before putting them in the pot. Many cooks keep the crabs very cold (and therefore almost comatose) before adding them to the steamer. Whether they’re boiled or steamed, the crabs need to be alive when you cook them. Many cooks swear that a combination of beer, water, and vinegar makes the best tasting crab. As Douglas Hanks III writes for the Washington Post, adding beer to the pot “just looks so cool” to the crowd. Water or beer? Only water is necessary, but the debate on adding beer is intense.Make sure the steam basket keeps the crabs out of the water to prevent sogginess. Steaming is the most popular crab cooking method and is best in a large, tall pot with a tight-fitting lid. For the newbie, cooking blue crab may seem intimidating, but the process is simple if you follow a few important tips. There’s certainly no shortage of crab shacks and fine dining establishments serving this sweet meat, but blue crab feasts are very much a backyard event in the Chesapeake Bay area. However, eating blue crabs on Chesapeake Bay is about more than seasoning or even devotion. Anyone who has traveled to the area in the summer months has fond memories of the permeating scent of Old Bay and the special, almost devout connection the locals have to this delicious crab. Summers along Chesapeake Bay aren’t complete without the “blue crab bounty” that fills the bellies and hearts of locals and tourists in Maryland, Southeast Pennsylvania, and Virginia each year. 6/20/2023 0 Comments Color picker hexHTML CSS Color Picker helps to pick a color in the form of a HEX color model record. If each of the three groups contains the same characters, for example #112233, then they can be written as #123. In many applications, an abbreviated form of notation for hexadecimal colors is allowed. Colors are represented as three groups of hexadecimal digits, where each group is responsible for its own color: #112233, where 11 is red, 22 is green, 33 is blue. HEX color is nothing more than RGB hexadecimal representation. Scan this QR code to open this page on your mobile device:įor those of you currently seeing this website on a desktop device and wanting to upload images from your mobile phone, then this should be the easiest way of doing so.īy scanning the following QR code with your camera, you'll be taken back to this page on any mobile device of your choosing.Hexadecimal color is specified using: #RRGGBB, where the hexadecimal integers RR (red), GG (green), and BB (blue) define the color components. If this all sounds too complicated for you, don't worry, knowing all this is barely necessary for most purposes. The first 2 digits represent red, the next 2 digits represent green, and the last 2 digits represent blue.Īlso, since it's hexadecimal, that means that everything is in base 16.Ī4 would be equal to 164 since A would be the equivalent of multiplying 10 * 16^1, which is equal to 160, and then 4 would give us 4 * 16^0, or 4. With that being said, HEX colors will look something like this: All values from A-F represent the numbers 10 through 15. Now, a hex code is a hexadecimal way of representing a specific color and an alternative way of writing RGB values as well. Just like we said before, each color has a red, a green, and a blue value in that case, the example that we just showed would have The max value for each of these three colors is 255 and the minimum value is 0. If we use RBG format on the web, we would have to communicate to computers by using a structure that would look something like this: In other words, all colors on a computer are made up by determining how much red, green, and blue they have. To understand the difference between these values, let's first give you a brief explanation of how colors can be displayed on computers.Ĭomputers typically display and understand colors by dividing them into three components: red, green, and blue. What's the difference between the different color systems? Simply put, we never see and don’t keep track of your photos or even the colors generated from them. Now though, it changes with the dodge cooldown nerf on gremlins, but it used to have an extremely useful specialized use :) Though I am not really sure about now, but when gremlins used to chain dodge, Valiance was the best gun against them. Valiance - The knockback on its shots are interesting, and the bullets actually move at a very fast velocity. Better for survivability - someone can also argue the use on gremlins. Charge attack is much more reliable as well. Supernova - More stable knockback than Polaris because shock cancels knockback. you know calibur is taken for its charge attack and not its normal attacks so I guess that is considered particular. But just remember that if you find you have a hard time that there are probably other weapons that will make your problem a lot "There is no particular reason to own a normal sword or a normal gun."Ĭorrection: There is a particular reason and a particular reason only to own a normal weapon :) specifially guns. And honestly, there is no correct answer as it is whatever is fun for you to play. If you want to focus on guns, then I'd suggest having either a BTB or flourish since they deal with monsters that dodge a lot (and maybe a bomb). So, if you want to focus on swords, I suggest having one alchemer as a side arm (or maybe a haze style bomb like the Ash of Agni or Voltaic Tempest). There is a reason there are 3 weapon types, so you might as well carry what is appropriate for your surroundings and/or needs. If they had 3 of the same type, and one of another almost all of their problems would go away. Often times there are threads complaining about things in the game, and the end result is that they have 4 of a single weapon type and can't do some basic task while solo. If there are other bombers or gunners I almost never switch off my swords, but if all we have are swordsmen, then I use my gun/bomb when appropriate. I almost always carry two swords, and either a gun or bomb. I would only go "pure" if you know you are going to be in a party with people who have other weapons. But I recommend that you make your choice, and then make it work, and then re-evaluate and try other choices. It has drawbacks and advantages, relative to other mixes. Your mix of weapons is a highly personal choice. However, in FSC I play with sword, gun, bomb. Another option is just to charge against the other monsters, trying to one-shot them. If I don't have a haze bomb on me, I often charge up my Acheron and dive into the crowd to kill the menders. Another delicate situation is that of two Tier-3 gremlin menders hidden in a crowd in an arena. But this situation is rare, and sometimes predictable and avoidable, and always a fun challenge. The main place, where pure swords is a hindrance, is a field of gun puppies protected by spikes. For example, I use three weapon slots, and usually play with three swords. Lots of people play as pure sworders, or as pure gunners, or as pure bombers. An elemental sword with an elemental gun would be bad against the elemental-resisting monsters (beasts and gremlins). A piercing sword with an elemental gun would also be good. Thus Nightblade and Firotech is a good combination (shadow sword and elemental gun). If you use a mix of swords and guns, then your gun should probably be elemental, because swords can have difficulty against turrets, and elemental is the best damage type to use against turrets. Bombs do not quite follow these rules so well they are a little more idiosyncratic. There is no particular reason to own a normal sword or a normal gun. Or you could have a piercing gun and an elemental gun. For example, you could have a shadow sword and an elemental sword. Whether you're using swords, guns, or a mixture of swords and guns, you want two (or three) non-normal damage types, so that you can take advantage of the weaknesses of monsters see the wiki page on Damage. Fortunately, you can change it whenever you want. It is the most important choice you make, about what kind of knight you want to be, and there is no right answer. The closest thing we have is the kind of weapons you use. There are no "character classes" in Spiral Knights, such as healer, archer, warrior, etc. She'll comment about manipulating Hugh to turn him against Nathan, then transform into a large winged demon on top of a large skull. She'll go on about how the world is already hell, so she's reviving Dracula in order to make it a literal hell as well as a figurative one.
